I doubt that Eisenhower would be happy to see his legacy co-opted into an commercial advertising campaign for a series of high-dollar concerts by a Socialist opponent of all war including the Allies battling against the Axis powers in WWII.

"Socialist opponent of all war including the Allies battling against the Axis powers in WWII. "

All that I have read on Waters I never really got a sense of him being a Socialist. I get more that he just hates war period and figures it should be avoided at any cost.

he is a fox hunter and openly supports such. (in fact its reported he left England due to the ban on Fox hunting)

He is dead set against War because his father was killed in WWII. He backed Obama but now he is Dead set against him because Obama sent more troops.

So My take on him is he is pro anti-war not pro political movement of any kind.

At least that is the sense I get from his statements. I disagree with his stance but he seems to stick to his guns and takes to task ANY politician who makes war.
