I think we elected Obama because He has withdrawn His support for us.

Obama or not, we’ve rejected God. Perhaps God gave us Obama because of our rejection.

I’m only in my mid-30’s but have never before witnessed the radical change that is happening in our country. Washington is so corrupt that it is beyond redemption.

America’s best days are behind her. We peaked in the 50’s.

Does any of you think that because the United States has rejected G*D and elected Obama that he has withdrawn his hand of protection on this country and that is why the hits are coming thick and fast now?

Do you think the election of Obama and the rejection of God are one in the same? Do you think we'd have honored God by electing John McCain instead?

It's possible. We do know that it is God who sets up kings and deposes them, so it's clear he allowed Obama to be elected. Perhaps He has resigned the gluttons over to gorging at the trough of the treasury. Giving them what they want, which will, of course lead to their destruction.

Unfortunately, they aren't the only ones that are going to suffer. But that isn't unusual in this world.

I do have hope that, if we pray and work, He may yet extend mercy to us and revive our nation.

Every time the Israelites rejected God and removed themselves from His presence; what happened?

Answer: Their enemies overtook them.

I would say that our current crop of ‘leaders’ are evidence God is letting us go our own way. Also in this defense look at the decay of our society and values. If you look at scripture theres always a slow decline into slavery and the US is well on its way. Is it inevitable we’ll wind up at the bottom? I think not. Scripture also says if we (the church) turn from our evil and call out to God he’ll heal our land. So, a crash and burn isn’t a forgone conclusion.

God doesn’t change. Read what he let happen to Isreal when they rejected him.
Also read what happens when people repent and turn back to him.

The US has not rejected God.

The US is under attack from within, and God is not going to stand for it.

This is God’s fight, and God always wins.

Why do you believe God has removed His protective hand?

We’ve had three major terror attempts that have slipped right through our best security measures (sarcasm dripping), and for all practical purposes, should have succeeded and caused much damage.

Miraculously... they failed. Not prevented... just didn’t work.

God can work through idiots as well as saints.

America cried out for a king and they got one. God said in the passed you want a king you can have one, you will live with the consequences.

Many Americans have not rejected God and did not elect Obama.

If he wanted to punish Obama and the Left, there are plenty of ways he might do that without punishing his children.

It's much simpler than that.

The voters of the United States rejected our constitutionally guaranteed republican form of government, and the communists were able to capture all three branches of government.

With or without God, stupid voters get what they voted for.

Election 2012 November, Apocalypse 2012 December coincidence??

1 Samuel 10:19
And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.

There are plenty other examples in the Old Testament, of the various tribes rejecting God.

My salvation is a personal decision not a national one. I have not rejected God, and won't. As for ME and MY HOUSE we will serve the Lord.
