I always have the impression that she aspires to be something more than she is. I like people like that, generally speaking. I remember seeing her give a speech somewhere on CSpan, and I was impressed that her remarks were thoughtful, that she actually had something to say worth saying and she said it well.

Jolie has the rights and has been working on and off on a remake of Atlas Shrugged.

"Her Dad is rubbing off on her" I'd suspect that over the years there has been a lot of rubbing regarding Angelina but a lot of men and likely women too.....

Not a remake. I don’t think it’s ever been done has it?

She didn't go because on her weekends off she would rather spend her time helping those who really need it rather than sitting, drinking champagne and laughing at bad jokes in a fancy DC ballroom. Good for her!

Puh-leeze, this woman is a loonie, loonier than two thirds of all the people in Hollywood.

Only the desperate show up at these things ...thinking it will help them in their endeavors...or to be gawk at by the pols.
Jolie doesn’t need that garbage.

Whether or not she is speaking with him in private, she has to know what Jon V is saying publicly.

I think the jokes are pretty funny, but if true that gives her an even better reason to be proud of herself for not attending. Quite the strong-willed lady to give up what to others is a fun evening, and refuse the invitation of a U.S president.

I don’t know of everything is okay, but they are speaking again.

I don’t get the adoration of Brad Pitt. To me, he’s a girly man.

It's just she is just someone who thinks your actions are more important than words. There have been several articles about her thinking that the Big O is all talk and no action, and one even saying that she was disgusted by him.
To: surrey
Speaking as a boy crazy girl, Brad Pitt isn't all that. His face is asymmetrical and he's far too thin. And the new beard is gnarly to say the least.

I would agree and I am trying to figure out why Aniston is still considered a star....her acting abilities are fair and when is the last time she was in a movie that would be considered a box office hit
