How good was The Wrestler? Was it real depressing? I’m not too big on real depressing movies.

It is a little sad, but won’t make you want to commit suicide either. Its basically a character study about a man who wants to do good with what little is left of his washed-up life.

Wanda: "I cant stand people, I hate them."
Henry: "Oh yeah?"
Wanda: "Do you hate them?"
Henry: "No, but I seem to feel better when theyre not around."

Thanks, I’ll have to get it. I think his portrayal of Henry in “Bar Fly” made everyone want to commit suicide — and take a bath!

ok... i just watched it online and i have to say, it is absolutely one of the worst films it has ever been my misfortune to watch.
shoulda been called Iron Man-2 - A WASTE OF MONEY!!!
even seeing free, i feel robbed of the time it took to watch it and i really liked the first one

I personally thought it was great, and fit in well with the first Iron Man.
Not a liberal film at all, and worth the money.

loved the spanking of congress and Rourke was good, but i didn't care for the pimping of IronMan and i thought the whole Scarlett Johanson character was lame/unneeded distraction and for me, her big fight scene was a joke and waste of time. but that's just me

Given that her character (The Black Widow) is one of the Avengers in the Ultimate Marvel line, she is most certainly needed.
