Can anyone tell me how to delete my pings? I just realized I have pages and pages of them going back to months ago.
Thanks!
We got sent for a bucket of prop wash, some flight line and the keys to the jet.
Oh OK, I wasn’t trying to hide, I wasn’t sure how it worked, I thought it was in a way like private messages at other boards and there’s a limit to how many you can have, and I thought I was somehow going over that.
WOW! I’m shocked at the responses I’ve gotten, it was just a simple question I asked and I gave my reasoning in post #62.
Vinegar and water. Use a hot water bottle. Not too much.
Thanks for your nice response.
Don’t ever hit the Billy Mays key when you’re listening to an audio file. It will blow your speakers out.
This would be my suggestion as well. Don't even bother with the "All Pings" tab unless you want full history, but you can at least keep the "New Pings" cleared by hitting "Mark All Read" on occasion.
As for the rest of you smart alecks, the poster asks a series question, and all they get in return is a hugh number of sarcastic posts.
Thanks for your nice response also.
The site is a little confusing sometimes even though I’ve been registered here for a few years, I thought somehow the pings were purged, but I just happened to look at my pings and they went on for pages, I thought it was taking up space on the server and there might be a way to delete them to free up space, obviously I wasn’t thinking because to delete them would also remove the posts, so that was my duh moment when I realized that.
I wrote FR years back asking if we could delete pings and at that time they said can’t be done.
Probably still can’t be done.
pinging your thread. :)
Being an old nurse that is funny......
Not to mention permanent hearing loss. ;-)
Funny you mentioned that...I once sent a private out for “BLINKER FLUID”...She was gone for 2 hrs..LOL
lol.....it took long enough to get a straight answer now didn’t it....but I went ahead and did it and I feel alot lighter now....
