We went to the Brooks and Dunn concert last night....what an experience..
a wonderfully entertaining concert but the grandest moment was when Brooks and Dunn were singing "Only in America" ..the crowd was wild but when 4 uniformed young men came marching out on the stage it was absolutely magical.....
curious if any freepers have been to any of their concerts....
Cool!
Years ago...love them!
Aren’t they retiring?
Not been to a concert, but my favorite song of theirs is “Believe”. Brought tears to my eyes.
I’ve never seen them but this song is one of my very favorite Brooks & Dunn tunes...

Seen ‘em, love ‘em, will miss ‘em...but understand...they throw a wicked concert..go see ‘em before they are no more..and God bless ‘em...
Mel is a funny director and comedian, and Dominick was a hell of a writer. . Never heard of the singers though
What a compelling first post.
Welcome to Free Republic.
but series......they are Americana...the people that go to country music concerts are for the most part people like US!......they're bonafide!
I feel hope in our great country when you see several thousands standing and cheering wildly for our uniformed men and women....for our flag....
I was gonna go with Albert and Nora, but figured that was too obscure a reference.
Just read in this morning “Parade” that they are splitting up but under good terms. They each want to try the industry on their own merits now. Both have new songs coming out as solos.
