MayDay greetings to Amy’s Place.
Sunshine has been pouring down today resulting in 80 degree temps and the need to pop the lid on the sunscreen.
Fate walks a different path
From he who wants and he who hath
For fate a parallel course abstains
Unmake the part so whole regains
The greater truths we cannot see
That is the price of souls will free
So fate must arbiter for the loss
And thus repays life of the cost
That is the curse of living mind
A pox upon the hope to find
The grand design the final plan
The knowledge that can unmake man
The knowledge of the whole you see
Is just enough to bind whats free
And so on fate we must depend
To see our hopes and thus defend
And find the way from part to whole
In ignorance fate finds our soul
And matches part to part until
The whole enjoins and parts fulfill
That is the role of fate you see
To understand the whole that we
In part to part can never find
In tangent lines into the mind
Fate walks along a different strand
Than human minds can understand
And that is indeed the grand design
For free will to be thus so benign
For knowledge is a paradox
And power is a jailers box
So blinders are in scheme intact
And fate steps in and so reacts
To keep the balance that must remain
Between knowledge and souls domain
And so a prayer that fate commits
And finds the whole and thus permits

The Lighthouse
The old ship had come through many a storm,
It’s sails were all tattered, beaten and torn.
The captain was tired, hungry and cold;
As he stood there facing his men in the hold.
Then he spoke in a voice that was loud and clear,
Take heart my good men, for land is near!
They were sick and disheartened gazing into the night,
When a voice rang out, “I see a light!”
T’was a stormy night and the winds held strong,
As they all stood there praying that he hadn’t been wrong!
Then there in the distance was a thin stream of light,
penetrating the darkness - What a wonderful sight!
Are you facing a storm, friend and fear for your life
filled with doubt and confusion, hunger and strife?
Well, there’s one who is waiting to steer you right...
He’ll bring you home safely if you’ll follow His light!
His name is Jesus, and He loves you my friend,
If you’ll call out to Him, His lifeboat He’ll send!
All your heartache and brokeness He wants to mend
He is one on whom you can always depend!
He’ll cleanse all the filth of your sin and your shame.
He’s just waiting for you friend, to call on His name!
He’ll free you from the bondage of satan’s chains.
You’ve nothing to lose and heaven to gain!

Here’s a link to some pictures of a little child being adopted in China, very heart warming.
