Thanks for the info. Sad for the baby. Prayers.
To be honest with you, I couldn’t bear to read the details of the story, and about the abuse, so I didn’t know much more than what I had seen in the pictures, and the comments on the thread.
excellent!
I still don’t know details. All I know is the dog was starving. I’m not even clear if this woman “abandoned” the dog or left him starving even while she was there. For all the press on it, there has been very little info about what probably happened.
yea for Courage. He deserves a good life & fun with new “parents”.
My German Shep rescue is a joy
“left him starving even while she was there.”
Yes — tied to a tree in her backyard with no food or water, walking past him every day to go to work — it doesn’t get much crueler than this. She could have just taken the dog to the Vet Hospital where she worked, told them she didn’t want him and have them find him a home, she wouldn’t have even have to go out of her way.
How old is Courage? Anyone know? Young dog, older?
I’ve decided. Gonna volunteer at the local shelter.
I’m not certain, AT, but I saw a headline that gave his age as three years.
God bless you! That is a wonderful decision for anyone physically able to do it, and they can always use donations from food to money from those who aren’t.
