Shakira's Protest Breaks Mexican Law

Columbian humanitarian and hottie, Shakira visited Phoenix yesterday in a somber mood to describe how America has failed to keep its promises to Latin people by passing SB1070, Arizona's new law that not only supports and parallels Federal border laws, but is more exacting in what police officers may and may not do.
Mexican law does not allow non-citizens to speak out politically, but Shakira does not only that, but admits that she is not well versed in our laws either.
Her press conference had 22 cameras, more than is usually seen at government press conferences. For that, the public was treated, as one noted, because the lion-tressed enchantress was dressed in spike heels, tight pants, a zippered leather jacket, and a wife beater tank top. As far as I know, our former governor, Janet Napolitano was never described by news sources for her choice of sporting organic cotton golf shirts, baggy pants, and rubber soled shoes.
On another note: Ricky Martin also came out on this bill, which also makes him crimminally at risk with the Mexican Federales.

See the video at the link. She does not expound, for she does not know, only feels, and does what is right for getting face time on Telemundo.

"Not sure why Mexican law matters when shes Colombian and speaking about a US law." Maybe because the U.S. law is being portrayed as pertaining mainly to Mexican citizens and Shakira (being Columbian) would be a non-citizen in Mexico just as she is in the U.S.
Point being, Shakira couldn't do in Mexico what she's doing here. Mexican law is far tougher on both illegal immigrants and non-citizens who would like to speak against it than the U.S. law that is being pilloried.
Didn't seem that difficult to understand...

I think what really pisses off a lot of us is the fact that illegals do indeed flout their flouting of the law. Imagine if any of us decided to make it well known that we are lying on our income taxes... perhaps by holding protests and marches with signs saying we lied about reported income, inflated the number of children we had, faked a ton of mortgage interest, etc., and we did that on national TV.
I can guarantee that the IRS would be all over us.
Illegals know they have nothing to fear from the federal government, and they have no problem flouting that fact in our faces.

If Shakira is Columbian in Phoenix, how does Mexican law apply to her?I think the author of this piece is trying to convey that had Shakira marched on Zocalo to protest how Mexico treats illegals in that country, she would have been prosecuted for committing a serious crime.
If Shakira is so stupid, why is anyone giving her any attention?
Cause she's hot. She is more than welcome to come "protest" in front of me any time she likes. ;)
