Just a guess: I’ll bet there are no females or sexual harassment problems on Chinese, Russian or even Venezuelan subs. If this PC nonsense isn’t reversed they’re going to kick our a$$ into oblivion.

Unless the woman is the largest bull d*ke female of all time, there is no possibility of her passing SEAL training, maybe BUDS, but not SEAL combat training. In fact, I doubt that any woman will make it through HELL WEEK...and that's just the start. There isn't a female in existence that can take it.

Arrghhh! Sometimes I don’t know who’s worse, the “enemies foreign” or “domestic”.
Back in the 80’s, my uncle (Vietnamam-era submariner, Skate class IIRC) used to rant that the then current PC craze would come to haunt us, particularly regarding our national security interests, in the years to come. Being a dumb teenager at the time, I didn’t get it. I sure do know.

I heard an old submariner from the Vietnam War say, If she will go down on a submarine she will go down on anything.

It’s an enormous mistake, but you’re not allowed to say so these days... shhhh - it’s “sexist.”
To: A Navy Vet
Are you homo? Hell, I’d want as many women possible on the sub with me. You act like this is a bad thing.
To: A Navy Vet
Each time females have been allowed in to one of these fields the standards have had to be lowered.
Great for morale and readiness.

When I was in Somalia, the scuttlebutt was that there were some women who were unhappy about being in an African hellhole during the holidays and got impregnated on purpose to get out of there. Again, it was scuttlebutt so take it for what it’s worth. My guess is that submarines will now become one big skivyhouse...

It might work if it were an all women crew.

I did a tour on an Adams class DDG years ago and that was incredibly cramped. I could not imagine trying to operate with a mixed male-female crew under those conditions. And at that I’m sure that even an SSBN is more cramped than that DDG was. I have no idea how they’re going to make this work.

Now DOD is going to put women on subs with narrow passageways where some innocent Sailor can brush up against a female? ***glug***glug***glug***
