It's McCain vs. McCain.
As Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) makes the rounds on television, standing up for the Arizona immigration law that has sparked protests and outrage nationwide, his daughter calls it "a license to discriminate."
"Let me say up-front that I do not support the bill that was signed by Governor Jan Brewer," Meghan McCain wrote in her Daily Beast blog on Wednesday. "I believe it gives the state police a license to discriminate, and also, in many ways, violates the civil rights of Arizona residents."
Sen. McCain, however, feels the law will not become corrupted, as his daughter fears.
"I do not want any discriminatory behavior, and I've talked to a group of lawmen," the senior senator from Arizona said on CBS' "The Early Show" Tuesday. "They think they can implement this law without racial profiling."
McCain argues that the law is in "response to the President's and the administration's failure to secure our borders."

Back in the 1950s, I had a relative from the “old country” jump ship in Boston.
Somebody dimed him, and he was picked up by the police and handed over to the “migra”. Migra stamped his passport, “Personna non Grata” and shipped him back to the old country on the first available steamer.
My father waited about 15 years to enter legally.
My mother waited about 8 years to enter legally.
Both of them have their names in the Ellis Island Memorial.
My Dad never voted democrat after the 1952 elections. The union wanted him to contribute to Truman’s campaign. He supported Eisenhower, so he refused to comply. They pulled his union card, effectively firing him. He started his own business and never voted democrat again.
My mother, who is still living, is a SOLID conservative. She listens to Rush and Savage.
Does Megan have a door man at her building in NY...you know, some one to protect her from illegals squatting in her home when she leaves for dinner, or a weekend?
Since she is going to have a “pick and choose” mentality to Republicanism, can she identify just which party platform planks she DOES support?!!

Why is “discriminate” a bad word? Don’t answer, I know why. Because libs don’t want people to be discriminating. Easier to get things by them.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’d prefer for cops to be discriminating.

If you want to know how John really thinks on an issue, then just listen to Meghan. Remember that he was pro amnesty until he knew that conservatives were turning against. Now all of a sudden he pretends to change his mind. I hope that he people in Arizona are not suckered again by this sell out.
