"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Hey.
Not familiar with Adventures of Maisie and The Night is a Weapon so that should be fun. Sherlock Holmes is usually good.
Now to decide what cigar to smoke.

Thanks for the ping. I listened two weeks ago, and enjoyed it more than I can even express. Last week I had a router issue [ask the new puppy about it :( ] and couldn’t listen. I really missed it. I’m looking forward to tonight’s broadcast twice as much!

That's fantastic Fantasywriter. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it.

I originally got satellite radio to hear Bob Dylan’s Theme Time Radio. I keep it to listen to Old Time Radio.

Thanks for the idea. It’s tempting, but I don’t even own a TV. I’m trying to break through as a novelist, and that takes a huge amount of time and concentration. Three or four hours of first rate entertainment on Sunday evening is ideal. As long as Vision keeps the pings coming, I’m as happy as a clam. ;)

Lol. I’m a massive fan of jazz vocals, but I have to agree with you on the Big Broadcast music. The comedies and dramas are better. ;)
To: Fantasywriter
He’s got some good songs. That was the WORST EVER.

Well look on the bright side. A bad song is like a commercial. It gives you a chance to run around and get other stuff done before the next show comes on. ;)
