Despite its undeniable beauty, Life ... is one grisly scene after another of animals chewing up other animals.
Agreed and I've wondered why the show isn't called "Death." It's also not the only nature show with too much focus on death.
There are also waaaaay too many shows glorifying gangs, prison inmates, and all the other losers.

Not to be argumentative, because I agree with you, but have you seen any of the new movies over the last few years?

Many of them are vile even for adult consumption. And we all know, parents these days are letting little kids in to see them.

Even television is loosening up it’s aversion to crusty violence or gore.

And while we’re at it, commercials aren’t any better.

Volkswagen has one out now where people slug each other if they see a Volkswagen before the person they are with. If I recall that was going on about 15 to 20 years aqo, but the television advertisers didn’t promote it back then.

Then there’s the movie, “Fight Club”. Today we have kids across America fighting at school in their various versions of fight club.

The rampant tattooing and piercings our kids are taking part in today, have all been pushed on them by the media.

There’s no responsibility taken by the media players today. And our nation is paying for it.
