A toy poodle can rip a mans throat out, I’ve seen it.
We had to handcuff the guy and then duct tape him up, and smear meat juices on his throat, and then leave him and the dog alone for 12 days, but it happened, I guess it could happen to any of us, it was just awful.

I think I’d have a much better chance defending myself from a six pound toy poodle without having to kill it, than a pit bull.
I’d say the guy over-reacted. The meter company could easily give the readers pepper spray or something that wouldn’t kill the dog and not permanently damage them.
Only sick people look for the smallest reasons to think they have a green light to kill somebody’s pet. Think lady cop stomping on family cat telling the people they’re lucky they didn’t have that happen to them. That’s the class of person this meter reader is in as far as I am concerned. Little people acting big.

Yes, psychological disability - he keeps seeing his life flash before his eyes, which interferes with his hunting/fishing/TV watching. What an ass.
Personally, I'd take the uhhh...risk...of disembowelment... before hurting the dog or possibly ruining a child's childhood.
