arf!
Awwww, what a good looking dog. I was just looking at Shepard pups today. Trying to decide if I want to get one. I’ll never understand how people can do such things.
South40 — since you posted the original article about Courage, I think you’ll be happy to see this. :)
Thanks for alerting us to this story, that many of us followed carefully to close to a happy ending.
Most Excellent Doggy Ping!
Ping-a-ling.
Some people need to be treated like they treat their animals to see what it feels like.
OMG, he’s beautiful
Here’s a video you may not have seen. Sorry it’s from the Huffpost. I googled it about a german shepherd dog in Alaska leading a state trooper to a fire at his home. His owner actually told him to go get help.
My kind of dog. I have 5 of them.

I got a German Shepherd once that her owner moved away and left her to starve. What great dog she was. They are my favorite breed.
sheperds have these eyes that just stare into your soul. What great faces these guys have. Love them!! Glad to see this one get a second chance
woof
He’s a beautiful dog I hope he gets a really good home. I’d take him in a heartbeat but not sure how my kitty would like that?
I can tell you that the owner if you can call her that name has gone all through the country as DO NOT SELL OR GIVE A DOG PERIOD TO THIS PERSON.
I want to play with those ears!
Poor baby. He’s so handsome and looks so smart and eager to please!
Good post...
after seeing the story of “Buddy” leading the Alaska State Trooper
to the burning workshop of his master on FOX yesterday and again today.
(”Buddy” got a special food bowl, silver-plated?, to honor his assistance
to the Alaska LEO and his “pack”)
Having, after about six months, being accepted by my brother and
sister-in-law’ pound-adopted Australian Shepard...the story of this
thread means a lot to me.
