Yep, we used to buy the short fill cases of Pabst to drink at our high school parties via older brothers. I was glad to see they brought Pabst back. Now Schlitz is another matter, I hated that salty slime! lol

Schlitz and Blatz were down there with Falstaff. Then Busch. After that, you could argue between Miller, Budweiser and PBR. For a while, people thought Coors and Olympia were the tops; turns out they were just less common, not better.

Sitting on the porch with a cooler, it should be a can of something American, I will grant you.

I make my own these days. Is that old school? I have an amber ale fermenting right now, can't wait to get it bottled. When I don't have my own brews handy, there are a few specialty beers that are very good, if you are into that. And if PBR is good enough for you, you will save a lot of money over a lifetime.
