Three years ago, Paul McCartney was one of the most outspoken of the disgruntled acts at EMI, the record label that had been his home since the earliest days of the Beatles.

He complained in an interview with The Times of London that he and other artists at the label, which had recently been bought by the British private equity firm Terra Firma, were treated as “part of the furniture.” He signed a deal with the Concord Music Group, an independent label in California, for his new releases.

Now, in another blow to EMI, Mr. McCartney has pulled his full catalog of post-Beatles albums, signing a new deal with Concord for worldwide distribution of the catalog, Concord said Tuesday...

Concord started as Concord Jazz,a small label of mainstream jazz recordings. It’s original facility was the office of the Concord,CA car dealer who founded it. It provided late in life career revivals for jazz stars including producing some of the best recordings of Rosemary Clooney and Mel Torme after the big labels had given up on them. Seems that McCartney is hoping for similar results.

Yoko is a creepy evil person. The Rutles portrayed (Neil Innes) John character’s wife as a nazi and daughter of Goebels or something. John and Yoko were/are not nice people. Lennon without McCartney and vice versa is/was cr*p. George (singularly) was a better songwriter.

George helped bankroll The Rutles and had a cameo in it. The sad part was Eric Idle (Monty Python) is a nasty man who sued Neil Innes (nice man).

Idle patched it up because he wanted to do a Broadway version of the Rutles and the music belonged to Innes.

Every single thing I've heard since the Beatles that McCartney has been involved with has been absolute swill.
