I think in this across-the-board reluctance to believe in and openly and forceful discuss conservative values we're seeing the results of decades of media propaganda--that's the only word that fits.

On the other hand, look how Obama hid his true agenda, too.

People SAY they want politicians to say it like it is, but in the end, the people are to blame, at least partly; they want people to "play nice" and "get along" in debates, and "end the partisanship" and blah blah blah, when in reality, people should be getting mad about what liberalism does to this country, and be proud of what conservatism could do if we'd only practice it.
