Think, despite his positions views; he is a popular Republican in SC. Think this has to do more with culling the numbers of viable Repubs as Novemeber 'Dem Threat' looms.
Sad and just all to pathetic, really. Meantime, Barney Frank (supposedly sleeping with 'someone' at SEC); who was embedded with Fannie & Freddie. . .is still a Dem Celeb and worse, a powerful one.
