The two guys doing the crop circles showed exactly how they did it and more than a few farmers were complicit in the events and then later claimed they appeared overnight; farming is a bit boring in the UK suppose. The alignment of the pyramids is nothing a reasonably clever boy scout couldn't manage and the structural design is so simple it would embarrass any architect today. The Egyptians didn't have a clue how to attain that height without simply piling blocks on top of blocks. Yes they noted the position of the stars, their lives depended on it and there was no artificial light pollution to block their view.

Given time and numbers people can produce large monuments.

It's fun to suppose that fairies, elves or leprechauns exist. The belief in visiting Aliens is simply that kind of folklore updated. as far as amateurs having proved that all complex 3-d crop circles are surreptitiously built as pranks with boards and chains, overnight, beside public roads, and without being noticed by any passersby, good luck with that myth. You have to selectively quote a few farmers and ignore a whole lot more about light shows!

So a Boy Scout, in the middle of a desert, with nothing more than sticks, strings and so on could not only align a huge structure to the then north pole within one degree of accuracy, but also choose the site so than it actually was smack dab in the middle of the land mass of the entire Earth?
