I'm sure this thread will generate many quips due to the meat thermometer angle but there's nothing at all funny about it at all

That’s just messed up.....I may be paranoid but I refuse to sit with people directly behind me in a movie theater...Maybe I have watched too many horror movies where people get killed but.........

There needs to be a law that no meat thermometers are allowed within 500 feet of movie theaters. That should take care of the problem.
