The alleged perpetrator according to news reports.

Well, there’s “stabbing” and there’s “just checking to see if he was done.”

I'm sure this thread will generate many quips due to the meat thermometer angle but there's nothing at all funny about it at all
A man went to a movie theater to enjoy himself, asked a rude patron to observe the most minimal standard of decorum and is now seriously disabled.

The alleged perpetrator tried to kill a man — brutally — because the man asked this animal to be quiet during a movie.

Another argument for Netflix or view-on-demand - the increasingly scummy quality of the general public.

They just get out more now.

Too true. Wouldn't want to sit next to perp or victim. For that matter, I've had trouble at other people's houses. An acquaintance and his wife rented Hamlet because it starred Mel Gibson. When the movie opened at a funeral, the wife asked "Who died?"

Almost certainly.
In fact, watch for some greedy lawyer to sue the theater on the alleged perpetrator's behalf:
“It should have had better security and that way my client would not have been able to return to the theater and repeatedly stab the victim. It is the theater’s fault that my client is in prison.”

That’s just messed up.....I may be paranoid but I refuse to sit with people directly behind me in a movie theater...Maybe I have watched too many horror movies where people get killed but.........

Just don’t ask anyone to not talk on their cell phone during the movie.

I suppose if someone dug up Melvin Belli, a case that ludicrous could be made by a zombie lawyer.
