Hawaii Minimum wage
Hellfire and bloody damnation, I remember when it was 5.25$ an hour and I thought that was a WHOLE LOTTA MONEY! That was 1992.
They will pay you in cash so no taxes are withheld. Unless you want to report to earn your Earned Income Tax credt. Your choice.
If I was there, I’d get the job, and go door to door encouraging people to vote for Charles Djou.
That would be fun.
As opposed to the non-specific voters.

I just emailed them, called myself Dick Longfellow and gave the phone number of a strip club in Honolulu.
Hmmm... good idea. Wonder if our son needs any extra cash. He's in the right district. I'd be suspect.
A poll done by "Daily Kos" no less showed Djou with a slim lead at 32% over Case at 29% and Hanabusa 28%. I KNOW the Djou voters are more motivated.
ROTFLMAO! One of the Korean ones that speaks no English I hope.
Is the Government hiring? If so, is this legal? or is this a CommieCrate org hiring? If it’s the latter, then GOP must meet in kind!
Probably some local ACORN offshoot.
No health insurance? How can someone live on that wage in Hawaii?
“Probably some local ACORN offshoot.”
I ask the question in this context - I get flamed for raising the issue of GOP leadership effectiveness and motivations - but where is GOP leadership in the face of this?
ACRON is tax payer funded? How can they be allowed to further one party over another? Why isn’t GOP leadership on this like “White On Rice”?
See what I’m saying?
Because the GOP leadership are either compromised with skeletons in their closet (live boys or dead girls), gutless wonders, no fighting spirit, or closet dems.
Their lack of fire and fighting spirit is sickening me.

I believe you have hit a Big Nail On the Head - see “The Franklin Cover-up” for more details and info - while dated (90s) I truly believe it reflects what is actually transpiring in Washington DC, and else where within our soon to be lost Republic!
I’ve read enough on FR over the years, plus freepmails, to know that DC is a fetid stinking swamp of filth, both parties.
Someone freepmailed me during the time of the Oklahoma Jihad Johnny campus bombing, that the Saudis invite newly arrived congresscritters (maybe other types as well) to their huge palatial embassy for parties, at which they provide drugs and underage male and female prostitutes.
The congresscritters etc are later shown the videos, and told how to vote.
I don’t doubt it for a minute.
I started working in a factory after high school in 1970. Minimum wage was $1.65 per hour.
In 1970 you could still find a decent studio apartment for $53 in Portland, Oregon, IF you had the inside skinny with a relative or friend of the landlord.
as compared with all the fictional, dead, ineligible, illegal, and duplicate voters that Demagogues are so used to....
