As arrogant is it is, this is actually good news.
It means that they look at Sarah Palin, and they see an ignorant white hick.
They are underestimating her, like they underestimate all of us.
It’s their Achilles heel, and by the time they wake up to what’s happening, it will be too late.
They only talk to each other, they don’t know how ignorant they really are.
That’s what I was telling my kids about the comments that the Tea Partiers are just a bunch of racists. That is, if they really believe that. (They might just be trying to whip up the emotions of others that are ignorant).
But, if they really DO think that it is about race, then they will lose. Even if they think it is all about taxes they have lost.
On another note, I was talking with my kids about respect for the president. I said that we are taught to hold the president with respect, even if we disagree with him. “However, it is hard to be respectful of someone who does not respect you, or your beliefs, and a president(!) that does not respect America and American values. We can’t be mean and nasty and use bad language, but I think with obama, he does not deserve our respect. Other than how you might give respect to a mean dog or an enemy.”
