Barack Obama told fellow democrats today that he’s “amused by the tea party protests.”
The Hill reported:
President Barack Obama struck a hyperpartisan note Thursday, telling Democrats that he was “amused” by the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.
Obama, addressing a Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser in Miami, did little to endear himself to the Tea Party groups protesting around the country, saying “they should be saying thank you” because of the tax cuts he has signed into law.
The president went as far as to say that this week’s special election in Florida, which was won by Democrat Ted Deutch, was portrayed by Republicans as “a referendum on healthcare, a referendum on the stimulus.”
“And you know what, it was,” Obama said to applause.
Obama continued to dare Republicans to run on a platform of repealing healthcare reform, telling the audience “they won’t be very successful.”
Despite the president’s confidence, DNC Chairman Tim Kaine told the crowd that they should assume that Democrats are “running into a headwind” in the November midterms.

When I see someone with an obama sticker on their car I can’t help but feel contempt for them. They need to be shamed and made to realize that what is happening to this country is their fault.
Obama is as amused with tea-parties as tea-partiers are amused by Obama!

You and me both. All day today I kept telling people the same thing at our tea party. I took a vacation day to go, and felt like a broken record. My parents escaped from Stalin only to end up here, now I feel that I need to take them to safety again. Except there’s nowhere to go.

It isn't over yet. Carter got the boot after one term. My worry is Obama will screw things up so much recovery will take generations to correct it. I wanted to retire in six or seven years but the little turd may screw that up. But we shouldn't forget Nancy And Harry Et. Al. They are every bit as guilty. Maybe even more so.
