This is nothing new. Pretty much anyone can do this to just about any domesticated rabbit. I raised ‘em when I was a kid and was able to do the same thing.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I have 2 French Lops and you turn them over to cut their nails and they’re like putty in my hands.

It can also be done with the Norwegian Blue Parrot. Beautiful plumage.

You can also hypnotize baby chicks by drawing a white line on a dark surface and while their standing, hold the chick’s beak down on the line and voila!.. in a trance they go and they’ll sometimes wobble like they’re intoxicated. It’s hilarious. What happens is, they stare at the line, cross-eyed and it overloads their tiny little brains.

Almost all rabbits can be ‘tranced’. My 11 year old daughter could do it the first day she got her first rabbit. No big deal.

Hi there.
Hello :-)Do you remember Ernie the ermine? Haven't seen him in a long time.
I'm quite honored that you remember him. My Uncle Ermie is, unfortunately, in prison once again as he is a guttersnipe, a ne'er-do-well and a downright scalawag. This time he was sent up the river for going to taverns and trying to hypnotize female patrons.
Here he is shortly before his most recent incarceration:
