It’s one of the aluminum bodied macbooks from last year. I bought it for my wife. I decided to try to use it so I could help her with her work more efficiently, I finally gave up.
Now the thing is cord bound and my wife is using a Win 7 netbook computer until she can get to the Apple store to get the battery changed. She hates windows but is starting to appreciate Word.
Was it hardware issues or software issues with the Mac? It's very strange the battery should die in a year. I have a MacBook Pro from 2006 still running on the original battery without any issues.
