The Folly of Naming a Tea Party Leader

Posted on 04/14/2010 2:19:01 PM PDT by Dawebman

THE TEA PARTY NEEDS NO "LEADER"

I must tell you Faithful FREEPERS and Tea Party Patriots that I laugh every time I see a headline or link identifying Dick Armey or Sarah Palin, or anyone else as the leader of the Tea Party Movement.

The true beauty of the Tea Party Phenomenon is that it wasn't borne in some politico's back room, or on some media manager's bar stool, or isn't some under-cover front for the Republican Party.

The Tea Party is a force to be reckoned with because it is the most pure Grassroots political movement I have ever seen in this country."

And the beauty of the Tea Party Movement is precisely that it has no singular character that the Commie Democrats and left-wing lame-stream media can demonize and attack.

Yes, individual Tea Party groups within communities and states may be blessed to have had one or more True American Patriots stand up and take the lead or be a focus for their community.

That is why the Tea Party, in my opinion, should not even think about becoming a political party.

The true essence of the Tea Party is the essence of the United States Constitution ... "WE THE PEOPLE!"

Anyone who has attended a Tea Party Rally has seen SEVERAL SPEAKERS, and not just one.

I like much of what Dick Armey stands for. But when he talks of open borders and amnesty for ILLEGAL ALIENS, he is not talking for THIS Tea Party Patriot.

If he or any other so-called "Tea Party Leader" suggests modification of Obamacare instead of TOTAL REPEAL OF OBAMACARE, he is not talking for THIS Tea Party Patriot.

If he or any other so-called "Tea Party Leader" suggests that this country was not founded by men focused on God, he is not talking for THIS Tea Party Patriot.

If he or any other so-called "Tea Party Leader" suggests that "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" does not include an unborn fetus, he is not talking for THIS Tea Party Patriot.

Yes, you are correct. I DO have a "Litmus Test" for my vote. As you can see I have several Litmus Tests for my vote.

I am tired of campaign rhetoric. I want actions that back up the principles I believe built this country and made it strong.

I will vote only for leaders who will take the fight to Obama, and whoever else stands as an enemy to freedom and free market capitalism in this country.

I don't want to hear Republicans say something can't be done. I want to see Republicans bust a gut to "GET 'ER DONE!"

Obama, and his pet monkey Rahm Emmanuel, want to tear this country down because "a crisis is a terrible thing to waste."

I want leaders who are focused on one thing, and one thing only -- TEARING DOWN THIS SOCIALIST TAKEOVER OF THE UNITED STATES BRICK BY BRICK."

I want to see photos and hear video of Obama and Emmanuel RAVING MAD because their Socialist Coup has been stopped dead in its tracks."

God Bless America.

And God Bless the Tea Party Patriots.

The Tea party, as far as I can tell, is a conservative party. Since there are no conservative leaders in this country, I doubt that the Tea Party is going to have a leader.

I am pretty much sick to death of lying RINOS anyway. Who the Hell needs ‘em!? I know I don’t.

Why name a Tea party leader?. They will just have a big bullseye in their back from the MSM. Leave Tea Party to its grass roots. The MSM can’t find straw dog to kick if it’s at is grass roots.

Good post. Lately I’ve got quite a few emails from “leaders” of the “grass-roots” - BAH!

I work with my local group, I work hard at what I do. I don’t ask permission and I git’r’done. When I don’t agree with my fellow patriots I can accept it. I know they’re not hell bent on the destruction of my nation.

The leadership I’ve seen is more of a liability than an asset. — stay fluid and don’t give them a target to attack.

What the left doesn’t understand is that we are all leaders.

The individual groups have leaders, which is pretty much all that is necessary.

and no single leader that can betray the movement by compromising with evil.
