That’s how I feel about every kind of hen party. And PTO meeting. And staff meeting. I’d really rather not.
exactly. i can read without other people’s insights and have a fulfilling life ; )
Yes, And that is one of the most likely ways it will start.
And more filling.
did you have one for dinner?
I did. I can feel my arteries hardening already.
Without any evidence?
The girl's family's lawyer wrote a letter to the DA asking that charges not be brought. She didn't want the drama of her life being gone over in a courtroom.
So with no evidence and without the victim's cooperation, there's little to build a case on.
Ben gave a brief statement to the media at 7 tonight. He expressed the expected contrition at letting down the family, community, team, NFL, etc. Said he understood the position he is in and that it is a privilege with which come responsibilities. And that he was going to work hard to earn our trust.
I read a ton of fiction over the dreary winter when the days were so short and life in the frozen tundra was depressing. I cannot read fiction right now, I am into non-fiction again......and I am getting out and have more of a life. so my fiction reading is my winter escape, I guess.
good you did bc you know michelle the obams will have it banned before long. how was it?
change mystery to mystical
Sweet Savage Love........a classic.
;^)
I basically agree with the Salon reviewer on this one.
Public Indecency is merely sex in a public place. The testimony and med evidence gave him that.
kind of a blonde version of you.
ROR at you taking down michelle obams in arm wrestling!
“Sweet Savage Love”
Now THAT is a rape and lace novel.
I’m not a book club sort myself-I even got tired of the bunco bunch-too hen party-ish. I like to indulge myself in what I read-it is one of my favorite pleasures.
When hubby was alive, he and I used to take turns reading aloud to each other on stormy nights when the DirecTV was down from the Whyte books-it was lovely, and I miss it.
You really might enjoy the Whyte books, or the Cornwell ones, once you get past the male slant of them. I just know you would enjoy “Beloved Exile” by Parke Godwin more-I have read that one at least three times since I bought it-not romancey, written by a man, but about a woman’s life.
