Sorry, but I agree with this 100%.
My daughter works in a level one NICU and the crack babies are so very sad. The same women keep showing up with another child needing months of hospital care and looking to a life of health problems if they even survive. Most don’t that come in real premature, and the time and emotion the staff puts in to try to sustain life is overwhelming.
These NICU people are angels
I’m more concerned about the precedent. Eugenics is a virulent poison. Given this nose in the tent the “option” will eventually become a mandate and the numbers of people “qualifying” for sterilization will expand. As always.
