Encourage your children to READ!

Use a three point plan.

One go to Amazon and buy the Illustrated Comic Books that will start the reading adventure.

Buy 7 titles.Count of Monte Cristo, Ivanhoe, Last of the Mohicans, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, War of the Worlds, Hamlet. Your choice is important but adventure, romance and villians will usually be interesting.

Buy the used versions and we're talking about less that $50. I'll bet this will be about a weeks worth of reading.

Two once the fire is lit you take your child to the library and depending on age find the full length version which will throw gas on the fire.

Three A trip to Blockbusters to rent the DVD and voila the child is ready to write a report to you about what he/she has learned.
