The head of an Ally to the United States and many of that country's elite leaders are dead.
Why is Foxnews not having special coverage?
To me... you cancel this prerecorded business block and bring in some heavy hitters like Bill Hemmer or Megyn Kelly.
And second of all it took Fox forever to even come on and report this.
What is going on? They are providing almost NO coverage.
I think Putin is capable of any evil move, I just don't think he would have done this. It's too stupid, too sloppy, and too likely that the world would figure it out.
Putin hasn't given any indication that he's a complete idiot. Just shoot the guy, or poison him, or blow up his car. There is no reason to assassinate a guy in a way that is this complicated and public.
As I’ve said on many a thread here, Putin plays Chess, while Obama plays Checkers.
Oh wow.
Yeah i was watching it and thought holy crap where is this?
FoxNews is sad. Yesterday while the bodies of four miners were being pulled from the depths, CNN was broadcasting live coverage while FoxNews was doing a Sean Hannity re-run. Over and over again when national or international breaking news occurs FoxNews is in the dumps. Hope someone can e-mail this thread to the top bosses at FoxNews. It is absolutely disgraceful.
Fox News doesn’t care, they have so positioned themselves as the “Conservative” network, that they know their viewers are loyal no matter what. So they can be cheap and rake in the $$$$.
Geraldo- a complete waste of time. He is for bottom feeders. They may as well get someone from the hood to report.
They have Molly Henneburg there.. so don’t know why she wouldn’t have been on.
Yep! There’s only so much of Geraldo I can take..
I am really surprised it is not wall to wall coverage of the equalivent of it, it is like Air Force One going down.
One would think that whoever pilots that plane has to be top of the line.
I don't buy pilot error, unless he was given something prior to take off that impeared his ability to fly.
I do not believe in coincidences. We sign an agreement with Russia on missiles, and less than 24 hours later the President of Poland dies.
No I am not believing it for one minutes.
bump
based on Fox coverage this morning, I dont know much about the Polish President, but Brenda Buttner does have a nice new hairstyle.
Geeze!!! What a tragedy.
The newsers are greedily accepting, reporting and pushing this was an accident. Very hasty conclusion considering the make and make up of the plane, the great responsibility of the Pilot and in advanced of any real investigation. Seems rather convenient.
The President of Poland and many cabinet members including the Chief of the Airforce, the Chief of the Army Staff, Commander of the Polish Navy, President of the National Bank, Head of the National Security Bureau, Secretary of State in the Office
What a target rich list.
The National leadership wiped out?
The Pilot carrying such important people arrogantly risked his life and those of the most important people of Poland by attempting to land even though Ground Control told them the airport is closed to traffic due to fog and directed them to Moscow or another city?
What pilot would do that and do so with the very important people on board. His and their safety is paramount
The president, his wife and entourage were en-route to a memorial service for the victims of the Katyn massacre which, in 1940, saw thousands of Polish prisoners of war murdered (primarily military officers), intellectuals, policemen, and other public servants by the Soviet NKVD
That would not be embarrassing to Russia. No not all.
A former Soviet Pilot state commemorating the deaths of 20,000 of their own people at the hand of the Russians? Why not have a keg a party as well.
Poland watched in horror as the Russians, once again invaded another Soviet Pilot State, Georgia and desperately sought a missile defense system and membership in NATO for protection.
Russia and Obama fixed that little problem by having the missile defense scrapped to appease Russian demands that they not be deployed. Wonder why?

The plane was refurbished and repaired last year, according to the general director of the company that performed the service. Alexei Gusev, the general director of Aviakor Factory, told CNN that the plane received major refurbishing and repair in December 2009.
So much for 'fair and balanced'.
Apparently it is, their Saturday ratings are #1 and averaging for the day better than #2 CNN and #3 MSNBC combined.
CNN and MSNBC huh?
Yeah that’s REAL hard competition lol.
Better than them COMBINED. If your #1 ratings would still be #1 if #2 and #3 merged that’s a good win.
I don’t watch FOX News on the weekends. I’m sure many others don’t either.
It's not even in the digital basic of my cable system, it's up there in the extended basic on channel 125. Where MSNBC, CNN, and FNC are in the digital basic at channels 68, 71 and 78 respectively.
Poland Pulls Trigger to Weaken Zloty
Essentially, Poland weakened their currency and they have been dragging their feet on adopting the Euro and joining the EU for some time now. Poland pushed back their entry date to joing the EU yet again, this time to 2015.
Compared to most of Europe, Poland's economy is seen as the most vibrant, given the global economic conditions.
