The owner of an elderly dog nearly killed in an attack by another canine says the fact its owner took no responsibility only adds insult to injury.
Gabriel Toth and Buzz, had left their Signal Hill home for a walk last Wednesday when a retriever-type dog ran across the street launching an attack on his four-legged friend.
It was a huge retriever on a leash, but the woman couldnt hold the dog and it got loose and attacked my dog, the 74-year-old retired geologist said Tuesday. The poor bugger didnt even see it coming.
He said Buzz, a 14-year-old Sharpei, who is almost blind, deaf and limps because of arthritis, was freed from the attacking dog but not before the damage was done.
The next day he took it to the veterinarian for surgery.
On Saturday, he was so bad we thought he was going to die, Toth said. Happy his dog survived, Toth said he is upset the other dogs owner took no responsibility for its actions.

Not even a pit bull.
must not be since it is a one month old story.
You are so funny! Trying everything you can to take people’s attention away from the fact that these incidents were not caused by pit bulls. The last story I posted you blamed the kids for getting attacked! Where is your sense of decency or honor? Or are you on the same prescription as the Dogsbite woman?
Dog bites dog story is no story. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz........
