A donkey is a horse designed by a committee

The only possibility of some sort of answer to the costs for health care will come through skill sets that require breaking down the walls of perceptions and mindset and tackling design through creativity, and all the while somehow managing the basic infrastructure at the same time.

So obviously, this is beyond the capability of the government, certainly of the current collective of politicians in Congress. And so, the entire program will fail.

In the previous Century, the citizens gathered into cities, and in large part such gathering was an outcome of the creativity of these citizens and the people in general. Of course, the picture wasn't as pretty as all that, but as it became the Century of cities and individuals gathered into such clusters, government saw the chance and found the convenience of now being able to suck the money from the very pockets of such people since they were “all in one place” if you will. It was too easy to do so, and such exploitation of the people became easier, and so the government ever more so acted in what was not the interest of the people but it’s own self-perpetuation. Centralization always seems to allow for such abuse.

Putting everyone "all in one place" is the basic idea if you believe in the advantages of controlling them through government.

As the power of government to perpetuate such exploitation increased, of course the ability of the people to take back such power became more difficult. Creativity becomes lost in bureaucracy, which always drives – in the end – corruption and influence peddling, backdoor deals, and ever more sucking of the money from the very pockets of the people on the claim that the government officials are more wiser than anyone else, certainly more wise than the people, and only they can provide for the animals in the zoo by taking away the creativity and wealth of these beasts to pay for the power of government and of which the animals should be ever grateful and never threatening and always hanging the pictures of such government folk and politicians on their wall or they may be called up before some committee, abused by the government money collectors who have the power to imprison, and eventually this starts to led down the path where the government then starts to tell the people what they must buy or face jail time. In the end, what they must buy are only those things sold by the government to enrich the power of government which has no creativity to solve anything.

In fact, these same government types in the end find that their power affords them the chance to simply be lazy. What they really want to do is not work on solving anything, but wear very nice clothes and see the picture of their face on billboards and have little school children be taught to worship them. They are lazy, elitist, they are the very image of what they claim they oppose, and laziness and elitism is something which is true for every muli-term government politico. All they really want to do is complain about being threatened by someone who is supposedly hiding under their bed, and no one should be allowed to confront them which is an affront to their god-status (which is actually quite funny in the perspective that a God actually has no one to fear) and the rest of the time is really all about deciding when and where they can go on a vacation. And so, being too lazy these politicos simply gather into a committee on the pretense of doing something, of which they will do nothing but further abuse other non-politicos. Nothing will be created, and as everyone knows, “a donkey is a horse designed by a committee”. As for their own threats against others, of this they are never too lazy. Having embedded their claws into the skin and having a choke hold on the neck of the cities, what happens next is the cities began to degenerate. Many people start to want to leave. To go somewhere to get away from having to look at the picture of some politico on a billboard, and away from the money collectors of which, no matter how much money is collected it is never enough to produce any result.

All the money of all the rich people can be looted to the last penny, it will never be enough to pay for the solution or produce any result from such politicos and their minions. In the end, only poor people are left, of which nothing was ever – in the end – actually given to them for free, and these people will – in the end – be blamed for the very failures of these politicos and blamed by these politicos, and the poor people will be “punished” for “causing this”.

More than a few of the “rich people” were actually also “smart people” who knew how to hide their money, and “escape”. In fact, a good part of the money that the politicos will have tried to loot will escape from the politicos hands and never be found.

So the politicos will then try to loot everyone, and to print fake “certificates” and the coins will be lead instead of silver and so on. People absolutely will die.

They will always tell us they are about change. The only reason they have to say that, is in fact change really is the only answer because they screw everything up and we need to change. They hope that the people are too dumb to realize that, and that – in the end – nothing will change and simply talking about change will provide enough stupid but useful idiots. At first it will confuse and trick more than a few, but their change message will become less effective over time. If more resistance comes against their regime over time as a result, the costs of the regime go up. And thus their need to collect even more money from the rest of us to support their regime.

Technology now affords the ability of such politicos to automate the taking of your money, wealth, and of course freedom.

If more power is given to them, it will now be even more difficult to take back.

You will know how bad it is, and how bad it can and will become, when you turn on your water and it is grey colored. You will then turn on your electronic television device and a “journalist” will tell you that the water has never been cleaner, all thanks to the wife of some politico of which they will report the latest fashion trend she is the example of.

You will then walk into a car dealership, which is now under the fangs of the government, only to find the portrait of the politico’s wife hanging on the wall, smiling. You better not say anything about it. Or you may be dangerous or something, liable to be investigated. You will be told that the new price for the car is now $$$ and you will realize you can no longer afford such a car, and that a car is really not good for someone like you anyway, health wise and for other reasons, and your place is really to get on the bus or other public transportation run by the government. There will be a placard on the public transportation that will look both in color scheme, design, and icons, eerily like the campaign logo used by the politico in power.

The protection of sanitation, water, safety, culture, in fact pretty much everything, becomes more difficult in a city now centralized under the control of government because of the very fact of centralization. And so when everything becomes centralized under the control of government, there will be no protections existing at all. You will be told every day, there are no failures. And in truth, every day is a total failure.

Cities can only live with creative people, with architects, artists, designers, consciousness, leadership, vision – of which nothing of the sort exists if everything is centralized under the government. In fact, creative people, architects, artists, designers, they will be arrested.

The past will be glorified. It is a false past, false heroes, false history. Because, at that point, with no creativity, nothing can change ever. Everything will stop in time, there will be no new medicines created or anything, and so only the never-changing past will be glorious according to the politico and “have you seen the new dress that the leaders wife is wearing! It’s gorgeous!”.

She will be wearing that new dress when she comes to visit your children in “school”. Or, I mean, her children which use to be yours.

There will come a point, when having money will be outlawed.

Everything that has the government stamp on it, it will be ugly. But it will be called modern.

They will have an owners manual. On you.

Nothing will be tested, it will simply be implemented. Forget about ever learning the results of the implementation.

Face jobs will be a special benefit for all politicos. So while most doctors will no longer exist for the people, there will still be a few, highly paid, face job doctors for the politicos. You will pay for the face jobs. One way or the other. For their anti-depression medicine, too.

However, there will be fewer commercials which include the line, “Ask your doctor”. Instead, the commercial will state, “Ask your Federal human resource manager”.

By the way, who was the person who first stated the quote, "A donkey is a horse designed by a committee"?

By the way, who was the person who first stated the quote, "A donkey is a horse designed by a committee"?

I don't know who first said it, but I always heard the quote:
A camel is a horse designed by a committee

That quote has been around since I was a boy.

That’s what I had heard, also. Donkeys are actually rather useful. Ask our troops in Afghanistan.

Brian,
A donkey is NOT a horse. Donkeys are smarter, healthier, more self-sufficient and longer lived than any horse could hope to be. It is sad that the party of the weak, dependent, and lazy has misappropriated this marvelous animal. Cute joke: Q: If Noah took two of every animal onto the ark, how was it a mule walked off after the flood?
A: BAD DONKEY!!! BAD DONKEY!!!
