"Flags at half-staff."

Does anyone out in Freeper-land know why American flags are flying at half-staff?

I took down my American flag last year and put up the Gadsden flag.

Not only is it more appropriate right now, but I don’t have to worry about taking it down at sunset. :)

We don’t know which to do: celebrate for KS or mourn for our Country, so we’re pretty much numb, like the rest of AmerikkA!

This is a great site and they send you an "email" when the flag is to go to half mast. Might not help in this case, looks local to me.

My gadsden flag has been flying below the stars and stripes since b4 April 15th, 2009. Now it flies alone.

Me too. I had the stars & stripes upside down but I find that too upsetting to look at. Now just the Gadsden.
