At least those flown in KS. I noticed them inadvertently a couple of weeks ago then didn't think about it until on Easter Sunday when a family member who knows I am "connected" (not well informed family member at that), asked why the half-staff flags.
I couldn't answer - can you.

We started flying ours at half staff on 11/4/08. No particular reason.

Flags in Kansas are flying at half-staff in honor of Kansas Supreme Court Justice Bob Abbott

In Michigan it is due to the loss of young servicemen in Afghanistan.

Thanks but it was much before WV mine accidents and many of our gov’t officials think that Obama ended all WAR.

A former state Supreme Court justice died. I think it’s only state buildings and some local businesses that are flying it half-staff. I don’t think federal buildings are.

My gadsden flag has been flying below the stars and stripes since b4 April 15th, 2009. Now it flies alone.

We are currently only flying the Texas flag on the pole. The Gadsden flag is in the house above the fireplace mantel along with a black powder rifle ; )

Still over Kathleen Sebelius appointment maybe?

I’ve been looking for a Gadsden flag - they’re hard to find these days where I live. I will probably have to order one.

I’ve heard some say that they will fly them half staff until ObamaCare gets repealed.
