Perhaps you haven’t, or you misunderstood them, because every single reputable study’s authors, from the CDC to the AVMA to the National Canine Research Council all say that owner irresponsibility is the most important aspect of dog attacks. Considering the overall bite numbers and the death toll have not risen since pit bulls became popular, it is only rational to conclude that the breed of dog is far less important than the type of person who owns it.
