People are saying Simon should be replaced by Neal Patrick Harris. (Stupid Choice!) Personally, I would love to see Harry Connick Jr get the gig! That would be a great choice. He was fabulous in his guest appearance mentor role.

(Haven't read any post from last night, these are my thoughts)

I absolutely was enthralled with the fact Lee brought out the half round chorus. That was smart and entertaining. The kid is showing his talent and after last night showed why he deserves to be the next AI.

"Come To My Window," arrangement sucked! I do not think it was sung well either. I also thought Crystal bombed on "Maybe I'm Amazed." She was awful because her vocal stretch was too lacking to sing that song. It actually sounded as though she was singing "baby, I'm a MAN!" LOL! Crystal is one trick pony. At this point I'm not sure where her genre really lies, but it's not with a top 40 bent. She'll be marketable to the Lilith Fair Butch Dike Lezbos, and that's probably it.

There does not even have to be a Vote Off show tonight, Casey's gone!

I don't know if you realize how true this statement could be! Casey is a good guitar player, but these guys are a dime a dozen!

Me too. That was a great idea! I wonder if it was Lee's idea to bring out the chorus? This is a facet of Lee's entertainment value I really like.

I was thinking about how fun a MOVIE thread would be. Pick a different one to rent and watch each week and go at it. There wouldn't be a LIVE factor, but it would be fun. We had some hilarity with Hell's Kitchen last year! Was that last year, SJ? I'm losing time. I've gone over to time warp now.

There a many "Eye Candy" words abounding out there. Trust me I work with ten women and I've never heard so many cougar growls in my life when some "babe" comes walking up to their stations! Estrogen ocean!

One of the best I ever heard was, "Oh, Ladies would you feast your eyes on that Burger!" LOL! I have to go through this every day!

I think Casey or Crystal could be going home tonight. I'm waiting until next season with high hopes they pick better singers then. Ellen is a terrible judge. She just stutters the same thing every week. It's not even funny.

It's a real wild card tonight.

Beer bars need a bar band and as long as they play something, it's all good even if it's sorta okay.
