OMGoodness...is that really a “now” photo of her? or are you just playing?

lol, it's hard to tell sometimes :) But yeah that's really her.

No, it was an environmental issue. It was killing the planet, causing animals to be endangered, etc. None of it was true, but some woman went on the crusade to have it banned.

If they said DDT caused cancer or something (even though that's not true either) I could at least see the logic of wanting to ban it. But banning it over thin eggshells is insane. And it's a lie too.

I’m going to guess Mike sings, “A Change is Going to Come” and at some point changes the words to “change is here” or some other O reference.

You're making me stabby :)

IMO, it appeared that Garcia knew ahead of time he was going home. He moved too effortlessly into position to sing one last time and it wasn’t Hound Dog. I think AI is tinkering with their rules and format this year. IMO, GARCIA KNEW.

He had to know there was a good chance that he was going home. I'm glad he didn't sing Hound Dog, lol. For the first time, Idol is letting the losers sing-out with a song of their choice. That's fair.

Elliott Yamin, the form American Idol contestant from the show’s fifth season, returns to Idol tonight for an “Idol Gives Back” segment with judge Kara DioGuardi. ......... then being temporarily trapped in Chile after the country’s devastating earthquake in February, after which he became a de facto news correspondent for American television news networks who didn’t have their own people on the ground.

Elliott was trapped in Chile after their earthquake...if he was in Haiti too then he's got some big bad luck karma thing going! lol

Have we had a week of “Inspirational” songs before? I don’t remember it and don’t quite know what qualifies.

I was hoping Lee would finally have a chance to do The Boss: “Born in the USA”. But, dangit, it’s not on the list.

“Amazing Grace” IS on the list...how much you wanna bet Mike chooses it? If so, I think he’ll go home.

Crystal probably has the most talent as a musician, but honestly I can't see her as an AI! She's a female Taylor Hicks. She's got talent, but her natural genre of hippie is too strong and won't play mainstream.

She would do MUCH better to end up 2nd or 3rd.

From looking at her I would guess its just to much work for her. She would rather sleep in until 1,smoke some weed and then maybe shower and get to work.

The pressure must be unbelievable, not to mention subtle, and not-so-subtle, intimidations from other contestants. Maybe it all added up to Crystal’s “What’s the point?” comment.

Pressure must be hard for all of them, but especially for the front runner who is probably receiving hundreds, if not thousands, of disparaging comments like yours.

This is big business, big betting business, with much to gain by getting Crystal to drop out.

Actually I don’t mind Ellen all that much but I can’t stand Kara. She’s stupid, pompous and has a bigger ego than Simon!

I think he has a delightful personality...but I dont see him as a singer/winner of American Idol...I DO see him acting in Disney feature films, however.

Bingo!

Crystal may be one of those people who can't handle it. There's nothing wrong with that, but if she did get second or third she would basically be free to pursue her own deal. (Which has Lilith Faith written all over it!)

I hate to say this. but Adam will be much bigger than Kris Allen, and Daughtry was enormously bigger than Hicks or McPhee. For goodness sakes, Pickler is more successful than Hicks!

Winning AI is just not that big a deal unless your style/genre fits their MO.
