BTW: wanting a company to sell it cheaper is not the same as demanding that they do.
Point granted.
Hi there — see my post #35 -— I agree with the blogger who points out that only 60% of American adults access the Internet from home, while over 80+ percent of them have cell phones. The iPad is infinitely cheaper than an iMac or a pc.

Sure, I wish Apple would sell a 64 GB iPad for $.01...well no ‘cause then it’d go out of business.
Realism - it is a good thing.
But berating people who buy high end products is irritating. And I am not saying you are doing that, BTW.
But the VAST majority of Apple-Haters, and they are all over FR, do berate us for being stupid and homosexual to boot. I buy Apple products and I am almost always thrilled with the product.
When I buy a sports car, or an appliance or a piece of furniture, I am looking at performance, design, innovation, features and design again. I buy high end products because they are almost always ... better. Apple does not disappoint.
I’ll buy my very cool functioning and looking iPhones, iPods and computers. And I’ll let the rest buy their Zunes and Dells. I’m okay with their choices, why do they have to put me down for mine?
