Windows 7 users on the other hand, are politely advised to download Microsoft Security Essentials ...

So, does that mean if I say "Please stop using your anti-virus program like the Macintosh users..." -- then you'll stop using it ... :-)

As long as you stop downloading patches from Apple to fix to the tune of 88 security holes a pop. They are both the same thing.
