Well, finally -- you might try to run without any anti-virus program... we'll have to try that... LOL ...

Are you ready to run that system that you say is secure for a year, along with mine running for a year to see how it shakes out ... :-)

You have made huge downloads to fix security holes in your OSX when your masters at Apple have ordered you to.
Windows 7 users on the other hand, are politely advised to download Microsoft Security Essentials free from Microsoft (or alternatives), as well as use Window Update to bring their computers up to date, right after installing Windows 7.
Same thing.
What matters is how the 2 compare after they are up to date with recommended updates. Windows 7 is inherently more secure.
