Nice! As soon as I hear there are no v1.0 problems I intend to pick one up. I've wanted an e-reader for a good while, but lack of color and other problems have kept me away.
The iPad looks to be pretty close to a sweet spot for me!

My wife has a kindle and the two things that impress me are
1. The display. Yes, it’s just black and white, but she can read it outside by the pool in daylight. I cannot do that with any notebook and I wonder if the iPad display will do that.
2. Battery life.. it’s incredible..
