MT Pockets

This was from a friend of mine, she found it in the Sharenet newsletter (it's for homeschoolers in the N Va area).

Thought it was comical, and it gave me a great guest idea for my internet radio show :) I like playing with dumb libs.

"MT ORGANIZATION - Tired of the Taxed Enough Already (TEA party) people? Join us! We're not parties--you can join the political party of your choice and still be one of us. We're pockets--pockets of people who are sick ...of hearing from people who don't want more taxes. Clearly more taxes are needed at certain times in our nation's history, and we believe now is the time for MORE TAXES. So we're the More Taxes Pockets, and we'll need you to stand with us against the TEA Parties. If you're interested in MT Pockets, call 1-800-MT-POCKTS. If you know of anyone else interested in MT Pockets, you can send them this information. We're hoping to have millions of MT Pockets by November, so our message can be heard in the elections."

A homeschoolers newletter?

I’m a homeschooler, I have never met ONE who was in favor of more taxes.

Homeschoolers are taxed heavily for education services they never use. How many thousands of dollars does the government force from you to educate other people’s children? HS’rs scrimp and save on usually one salary to get a few hundred dollars to purchase materials for their kids schooling, all while paying taxes so that other kids get things we can’t afford.

We never vote in new taxes.

I believe that this is sarcasm/humor MT=Empty. I think someone is playing games with the dodos, it’s like a duck call for libs. The fact it was in a home school newspaper reinforces my belief that it was humor intended.

Read it again with a broader awareness of your understandings.

Read this from the standpoint of irony, and of 4-1.
