even if you have to wash clothes outside), dish soap, & tons of batteries.

I’ve encouraged my children to buy extra canned goods each time they grocery shop, not sure they listen.

On the matter of soap, do you know how to make home made soap?
My mother use to make it when I was a child. All I can remember was the Lye, and ashes from the wood burning stove saved all winter.
My neighbor, who makes his own fuel has told me Lye is hard to purchase, gotta ck. into this, he use s’s Lye in processing his fuel manufacturing. Every thing he owns is powered by bio-diesel , fuel for home, car’s, lawn mower, etc. .

Red Devil Lye.

You can buy it in almost any supermarket. It should be near the liquid plumber type stuff.

WARNING!!!!!

Lye is something NOT TO BE MESSED WITH UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

It is TOXIC and EXTREMELY CORROSIVE!

ALWAYS have a gallon of vinegar nearby.

There are many other resources on the web, usually in forums you can find where to buy lye, NaOH (Sodium hydroxide), locally. there are many methods, I used to have some pdf’s, i’ll see if I can find them for you.
