APPARENTLY the First Lady's famous White House herb and vegetable garden was not the type of natural pick-me-up he was looking for.
Kal Penn, star of the Harold & Kumar movies, will leave his job in the Obama administration to appear in a new Christmas-themed flick as his signature stoner character...
Penn quit his previous gig, a recurring role on the hospital drama House to become White House director of public engagement last year.

Sure glad he “shot himself” on House. Can’t return which is good news....
“A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”

Filming starts in June, for release in 2011.
Never heard of him. Have I missed anything?
I liked his character on “House.” I wished the writers had killed off Foreman or 13 instead.
I would like to know the real reason.
I guess he’s smart enough to flee the “Ishtar” of administrations.
I loved the first two. I wonder if neil patrick harris comes back from the dead.
13? Kill off isn’t the first thing that comes to mind to do to her.
I had to follow your link just to figure out who Kal Penn was. We regularly watched the House series, but never pay attention to the actors’ names.
She’s not your type, Mr. Blonde.
Or should I say, you’re not HER type.
She’s a television gal, meaning that she either goes for someone of her OWN sex, or she bangs down with a Black guy.
You? You haven’t got a chance.
Agree - “Foreman” is a really boring character. Considering “House” is slowly becoming more PC, Foreman will be safe.
I actually liked his character on House a lot. You never knew what kind of excitement he would cause with those defibrillator paddles. :)
That said, I am sort of glad they killed Kutner off, so Penn learns his lesson. I was watching a House episode he was in last week and I was wondering if he regretted giving up the role to join Team Hussein, yet. I guess he did.
Actually in real life it is even harder, she is married to a prince. Damn.
How is Foreman PC? Unless things have changed in the last two seasons, he isn’t.
Who?
As a big HOuse fan, I'm becoming less interested. In fact, I find "Chuck", more entertaining and with all the killing, definitely un-PC.
I thought Foreman was the most interesting character, and only his behavior towards House made the whole thing worthwhile.
You can have 13-I got dibs on Cuddy!
