1. In favor of governmental control of private industry
2. Supports centrally-controlled government-run healthcare industry
3. Benignly reacts with plausible deniability while voter intimidation and suppression takes place in plain sight
4. Surrounded by parrot-like, toadyish propaganda machine

http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/5062087-dozens-of-patients-dead-in-psychiatriac-hospital-in-cuba

Deaths by hypothermia of 26 mental patients at Cuban hospital provoked no comment from U.S. government (or MSM, or Fox News, or American Medical association)— an inconvenient truth.

5. Ignores volumes of bad news while latching onto and ceaselessly repeating ANY tidbid of good news as complete and irrefutable proof that the party’s agenda is working

Ten examples? If your friend won't be satisfied until you site "TEN examples", get a new friend.

Something tells me, however, that you could give him/her 20 examples and she/he still wouldn't be convinced.

Having said all that, here's one, straight from the horse's mouth:

"Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Thursday declared passage of American health care reform "a miracle" and a major victory for Obama's presidency, but couldn't help chide the United States for taking so long to enact what communist Cuba achieved decades ago." AP - 3/25/2010

Afroeconomical policies resemble more of a blend of Mao and Mother Teresa. According to the practitioners in Washingtopia. The goal is to redistribute the wealth created by Capitalism until Capitalism fails. North Korea and Cuba are good examples of the of the results achieved in the end by these policies. Trickle up poverty and totalitarian government.

From DOZENS OF PATIENTS DEAD IN PSYCHIATRIAC HOSPITAL IN CUBA (Jan 2010): "Conditions of the old Mazorra clinic have deteriorated. The windows lack glass panes, quilts are scarce, and the food is inadequate, aggravated by the suspected employee embezzlement and smuggling of goods allocated to the hospital by the state."

His stated goal of redistribution and all that flows from it is what he holds in common with the communist dictators of the world. I like your phrase “trickle up poverty.” I think it is concise and accurate.

Ask your friend: “If 0bama were to wake up tomorrow morning and say to himself ‘I’ve gotten it all wrong ... from now on, it’s Socialism all the way!’, how would he behave differently?”.

"We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama's) government," Castro wrote in an essay published in state media, adding that it would strengthen the president's hand against lobbyists and "mercenaries." AP - 3/25/2010

What Chains Look Like

The passage of health insurance reform legislation represents a historic victory for the American people. America's families and businesses will not only get relief from skyrocketing health care costs but will now have more control over their health care. No longer will the insurance companies get the final say when it comes to rates and rights.

That is what happens in Communism. Everything is real cheap but there isn’t any.

How about he is EXACTLY like Hugo Chavez, which IMO may be worse than Castro:

- Chavez has nationalized the auto industry - So Has Barack
- Chavez has nationalized banks - So Has Barack
- Chavez has nationalized the petrol industry - Barack is moving in that direction with Cap n Trade
- Chavez is in the process of nationalizing health clinics - So is Barack

And it can’t help things when a country like Cuba endorses and LOVES the new DEMCARE.

Orwellian "low infant mortality" means six out of ten preganacies in Cuba are aborted. Killing as "healthcare" is another doctrine of demons Dear Leader holds in common with Fidel Castro.

Cordially,
