Norwich, Conn. (WTNH) - Two arrests have been made in a Norwich homicide that has gone unsolved for nearly six years.
Eugene Mallove, 56, was found dead in the driveway of his boyhood Norwich home back in May of 2004.
According to the Norwich Bulletin , Candace Foster, 30, of Norwich, has been charged with accessory to murder, robbery and felony murder. Chad Schaffer, 32, of Taftville, has been charged with murder, felony murder and robbery.
Mallove, a scientist from Pembroke, New Hampshire, had returned to the family home near I-395 in Norwich because his tenants moved out. He was there to clean up when he was killed. The medical examiner says he died from blunt force trauma.
A $50,000 reward was being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Two men were arrested in 2008, but charges were dropped because of lack of evidence.
Hope his family will finally get justice

I just found it in my original search before I posted this article, but now I can’t seem to retrieve it. Maybe someone else can help here.
Only JimRob knows.
I believe he posted as Cold Fusion .
Thanks for the link, don’t know why I couldn’t get it to come up again.
According to this post from 2004 ,his Freeper name was vlad.
Thanks for this info Kitty.
I am so sorry to read of this happening to ANYONE.. yet alone one of our own.
Hopefully we can get his info posted on the Memorial Wall.
I’ve done a little research an;d I think his screen name was Waldozer, see his posts, here http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:waldozer/index?tab=comments;brevity=full;options=no-change
I hope we can get him put on the memorial wall. He wasn’t a registered Freeper for very long, but if you read his posts, we were fortunate to have him while we did. His posts lead one to believe he was a generous, brilliant, kind, and reasonable man.
