Sweet. I don't think its a cheap shot at all. These eps/scripts were written and filmed at least a month ago, long before the 'reload' comment.

If they want to make reference to a woman who is unapologetically pro 2A, then go for it!

I didn't see it so I can't really comment, but, I worked on a Bellisario pilot and he is no liberal. It's a shame he left NCIS and I wish he had more input in the scripts since it's his baby.

This is even worse than it seems. It wasn’t just a woman w a gun, but a woman with a gun SHOOTING AT POLICE! This is slander of the worst order against Ms. Palin, who oversaw State Police and National Guard troops as a Governor.

This was one of the first episodes under a new riting team - and they were really stupidly ham-handed in their treatment of several of the characters.
