Are kids under 16 allowed to win them at carnivals by tossing a ping-pong ball into a fishbowl, or is that illegal too?

I believe that giving them as prizes to children under 16 is also illegal. From what I gathered in a quickie search, this is a real law (in the formalistic sense of a document written in the English language that was subject to certain formalities in the UK parliament).

If her last name was Akbar they’d have given her a prize.

Is this for real?

The kids found out you can chop gold fish up into tiny bits, dry the remains, and then snort them for a high...

It is believe algae that was consumed by the fish is the intoxicant.

WTF?

Seriously, it’s a friggin’ crime to sell goldfish to children in Britain?

I’m thinking the British seriously need one heckuva smack to the head to shake this cr@p out of ‘em.

All the night markets here have those set up. Dissolving paper scoopers. And yes, my young son is better at it than I am. Some of the fish he’s gotten have lasted for 3 - 4 years. Some..well...not so long...lol.

I woke up in the middle of the night, uncharacteristically had a glass of wine and am reading....and i read your post. haha! I really enjoyed it. I wonder, is it the wine or is it really funny?
I have no idea. I don’t usually drink, so one glass of wine is really affecting me.

Can Michelle be arrested for trafficking under this law? After all, she did take her two minor daughters to a fish fry when visiting England...
